That mascot looks 100x tighter than the dude wearing the Billabong shirt and it has nothing to do with the fact that he’s dressed up like a yellow dog. Has anyone ever seen someone look cool while breakdancing? I doubt it. I have a few times and it’s all been on YouTube. Unless you are really, really, REALLY good, you shouldn’t do it in public. Just my personal opinion.
And what’s up with the discrimination at :29? He sayin’ us white folk can’t dance?!

Little Man is Breaking it Down!!!
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN! I watched this video like 6 times and I’ll probably watch it 6 more before the day is over. Kids dancing are always entertaining, but this kid can get down! He probably dances better than anyone I know and he’s only 7 years old!!! Fly him to Columbus for a dance off with Kareem at Get Right!

Flashmob – Hammer Pants Prank
A flashmob is a large group of people who invade a public space and perform an orchestrated dance. I’m not sure where the idea came from, but I’m sure it was inspired by Improv Everywhere. You may or may not have seen the Sound of Music flashmob at a large train station somewhere in Europe. Very cool video, check it out if you haven’t already.
This video features hundreds of dancers clad in gold hammer pants invading what appears to be the biggest Hot Topic in America. MC Hammer would be proud.
TWERK TEAM! DO DA STANKY LEG!
Ok, if you haven’t heard of Twerk Team already, you need to get familiar with their YouTube account. It’s a group of girls dancing to just about every rap song out there and at the beginning of almost every video the girl filming yells out “TWERK TEAMMMMM!!!”

You have to watch this video. It’s slow in the beginning but around the :35 mark it gets pretty sweet. This guy has some serious flow on those crutches. I’ve seen stuff like this before but this guy has some major steez. The song is dope too. Props to KNOWxONE for the video.

2008 World Hip Hop Dance Champions
Philippine All-Stars performance at the 2008 World Hip-Hop Dance Competition that took place in Las Vegas. They took home the gold. Shit looks like the matrix.

We Be Clubbin! 07-11-08
Last night was… unreal. Apologies to everyone who has my blood on their clothes.
I missed most of envelope because I was downtown with my sister. She is traveling to Panama for a few weeks for work so I had to wish her off (Have a good trip Christina!). I was lucky enough to catch Detox and Johnny Cashola for the dance party. Madness ensued.
I recommend listening to this classic Ice Cube track from 1998’s Oscar Nominated picture The Player’s Club while viewing the pictures.
