Columbus natives Baby Drew and his boy Josh have put together a few tracks for all the loyal Grip readers out there. I am not sure if they will be playing any gigs this summer but hopefully they keep the tracks coming. ( . Y . ) is the name of the band. I’m still not sure how to pronounce that.
Today has been a little hectic so I apologize for the lack of content. I found this on HypeBeast today and I’m sure it’s old but it had me bouncin’ at my desk. I call it ghetto hyphy bmore.
Miami Horror’s sound has been described as “80’s driven synth-pop italo/disco.” I think it sounds 80’s and for some reason that is my favorite music to listen to at work. That way if my headphones accidentally come unplugged my co-workers don’t get blasted with some Juvenile. This song is from their upcoming LP Bravado.
Saturday/Sunday I have 1st/2nd/3rd family obligations, so the rest of the pictures won’t be posted until Sunday/Monday… Ya dig?
I would like to thank a few people(s):
1. The entire Get Right Dynasty. This includes the Dynamic DJ Duo (D.D.D.) Detox and Jonny Cashola, Kareem “You Bought That From Me” Jackson – Eric “I’ll Cover That” Hayes – Kani “Let Me Check Yo Eyes, Girl” Brown (the Milk Bar Society of Fashionable Savages), and the people of Columbus who make Get Right the only place to be every 1st Friday! (enough Sweatin’ on my part)
2. Ms. New Booty
3. The good people at Buckeye Donuts for making this late night gyro OH SO TASTY.
4. My moms
5. Everyone who took my camera away from me – Drew, Garrett, Natalie, Grace?

And last but not least…
