He could have nailed that from 70 yards!!
I guess this is technically “during a game,” but if you are walking up the floor and no one is getting back on defense, that doesn’t count. Either way, Elijah Johnson is 6’2 and has Vince Carter hops. Hope he doesn’t fall off the map like half the other High School phenoms.

As a completely unnatural athlete with little to no inherent speed, strength or skill, I have complete disdain for all athletes with so-called “God-given” abilities. By now, everyone has seen the commercial with LeBron playing wide receiver for the Browns, but a lot of NBA players could be considered in his class of having multi-sport skills. Allen Iverson was Mr. Football in Virginia as a quarterback, cornerback and kick returner, and was considered one of the top recruits in the country, on par with NFL QB Aaron Brooks. However, his career was sidetracked by charges that he beat a woman in the head with a chair at a bowling alley. AI had this to say regarding the alleged fracas, “For me to be in a bowling alley where everybody in the whole place know who I am and be crackin’ people upside the head with chairs and think nothin’ gonna happen? That’s crazy! And what kind of a man would I be to hit a girl in the head with a damn chair? I rather have ’em say I hit a man with a chair, not no damn woman.” Touching words from a complex individual…and I must agree, there is nothing wrong with hitting a man with a chair. But I digress, check this video of AI’s high school football highlights and dream of him breaking ankles on the old gridiron.
High school. 18 years old. Off the hook.
Watch in high quality.
These 17-18 year olds got me feeling real salty right now.
Oh, highschool. Those were the days. Going down to the basement to “watch a movie.” I think I watched two movies all the way through during those four years. As a parents I will be living in a ranch style home with no basement and with webcams set up all over the house.
7’1 Center BJ Mullens is committed to play at Ohio State next year. White boy can dunk for a 7 footer.
