Enter The Magical Mystery Chamber

I got this a while back and forgot about it; I don’t know how I could have considering they’re two of my favorites. Enter The Magical Mystery Chamber is a mash up of Wu-Tang and Beatles tunes that were put together over the course of a few months by Tom Caruana. It’s not on the same level of say, the Grey album, but it’s worth a listen. You shouldn’t have trouble finding a copy if you like it and he’s got some other decent stuff on his website. (Just a reminder, it’s Wu-Tang, the lyrics are NSFW)

Wu-Tang vs. The Beatles

I haven’t listened to this yet so I can’t give it an official co-sign, but my instincts are telling me it’s good. Download and enjoy.

Lost and Found, Vol. 2 by Wes Keyes

“You better not be listening to this garbage!” “Honestly mom, I’ve never even heard it before. A friend left it over here.” 36 Chambers was the first album that I got in trouble for having. I can only imagine the look on my parents faces as “Bring da mutha fuckin ruckus” is repeated over and over. I love it though, It’s one of the few rap albums that I know almost all the words to. Wu-Tang formed around 92′ in Staten Island (shaolin) with cousins RZA, GZA and ODB having given up on their original crew called Force Of The Imperial Master. After short lived solo attempts and frustration with the industry, RZA came to the others with a promise of taking over the game if they would let him take over their careers and be the leader of the Wu-Tang Clan. This is when friends and others joined the group and the original nine members of RZA, GZA, ODB, U-God, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa and Method Man were assembled. Since their original release of 36 Chambers, the Clan has enjoyed tons of success from music, movies and clothing. They’ve even brought other rappers, known as the Killa Beez, into the Wu-Tang family. There website Wu-Tang Corp. is full of information and can link you to their other artists.

New Wu-Tang!!!

Spotted this over at the {milk bar} blog and it was too good to pass up. The track is titled “New Wu” and features Raekwon, Method Man, and Ghostface Killah. Wu-Tang is always at their best when they stick to their signature classic sound instead of trying to sound like something else.

Envelope’s Wu-Tang Food Art STOLEN FROM WEED STEELER BLOG

Columbus rapper Envelope has a unique hobby/skill that involves food and the legendary rap crew The Wu-Tang Clan. I grabbed these pictures off Facebook without his permission so hopefully he doesn’t mind or write a diss track about me.

I’m a little iffy about meatloaf in general, but that pizza looks damn tasty.

Redman and Method Man // A-Yo

I’m a little disappointed that people don’t seem to care that Red & Meth are releasing another album. Blackout was and still is one of the best collaboration albums of all-time. I also heard rumors of a How High 2??? Anyways… this track is hot. Can’t wait for the album.

Side note: Red & Meth’s performance at Rock the Bells 2008 in Chicago was by far the best of the weekend.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

R.I.P. – Ol’ Dirty Bastard

Yesterday marked the 4 year anniversary of ODB’s tragic death. As a member of Wu-Tang Ol’ Dirty made quite the name for himself with some of his public antics. Shimmy Shimmy Ya is one of my favorits jawns of all time and I wanted to pay tribute here at The Grip.
