LeBron James @ {milk bar}

This past weekend the Cleveland Cavaliers played a preseason game against the Washington Wizards at the Schottenstein Arena in Columbus, Ohio. Rumor was that LeBron James and the Cavs would be making an appearance at {milk bar} after the game. Eighty81 LLC came through on their promise and LeBron showed up around 11:30 PM and hung out for around an hour (sadly Wally Szerbiak, Delante West, and Zydrunis Ilgauskis didn’t make it).

I have to give it up to LeBron. He is arguably the best basketball player in the entire world (who is 23 years old… 23!!!) hanging out in a store he’s probably never heard of that opened about a year ago in Columbus, Ohio. He walked through the store, said what up to everyone who came up to him, and had a few drinks with his entourage. Pictures weren’t allowed (salty-ass bodyguards) but I managed to snap a few shots on the lowlow.

Johnny Cashola (Columbus Dj legend in-the-making) warmed up the crowd and then DJ Steph Floss took over when LeBron showed up. I would estimate that 70% of the songs played were from the Jay-Z catalogue and LeBron knew every single word to every single song (maybe some foreshadowing to LeBron playing for the Jay-Z owned New Jersey Brooklyn Nets???). LeBron’s crew took off around 12:30 AM and the crowd dispersed shortly thereafter.

Another solid event hosted by the good people at {milk bar}. You can always count on DC Kareem and Co. to keep you ahead of the game in Columbus.
