Personally I would have to say no, but there is definitely a reason it’s the most popular sport on the planet. This video gives us an amazing look at the history, passion, and energy of the game.
Alessandro Rosa Vieira, known as Falcão, is a Brazilian football and futsal player. Futsal is a form on indoor soccer but it’s 4 vs. 4 and the goals and field are much smaller. The game showcases players footskills and allows players to showoff quite a bit. Falcão is one of the most famous Futsal players in the world and you can see why from this video. Mad footskills.
This video was taken during the Italy vs. Brazil soccer match earlier this week. Why? Because that’s what gingers do. Shouts to JB Felony for the link.
A little kick-up contest between CR7 and Billy Wingrove. Looks like Wingrow’s footskills are a bit more refined than Ronaldo’s. Will we see a lot more of this on the pitch when Ronaldo and Kaka are dribbling their way past defences??
Ronaldo’s sixth-minute goal, a stunning right-footed strike from 40 yards, was enough to seal a 3-2 quarter-final aggregate win and confirm an all-Premier League last-four meeting with Arsenal. With Chelsea also through after defeating Liverpool, it means that for the third season in a row, three of the four semi-finalists are English.
Can you imagine what it would be like if this happened at a Cavs game? What about a Lakers game? All the A/B/C/D list celebs who paid thousands of dollars for their seats going crazy when their team’s song came on. I can’t even comprehend how Kobe and LeBron would react to that type of energy on their home court.
Columbus had entered the MLS Cup final as resounding favorites. The Crew proved Sunday at the Home Depot Center that they are without a doubt the best team in MLS with a 3-1 win over the Red Bulls. Guillermo Barros Schelotto set an MLS Cup record with 3 assists.
I haven’t posted anything soccer related in a while so check out this 5 minute mix (with crazy techno in the background) of the sickest player on the planet, Christiano Ronaldo. Kilt em!
I don’t really know much about this video. Apparently this guy appeared to be trashed shortly after the 2nd half of a soccer game. Trainers attempt to escort him off the field. Once he finally leaves he is greeted with cheers from the crowd.
Took these videos a few years ago. Someone gave me that huge rear projection TV and when it died we took it out to Chris D’Andrea’s parents house in BFE Ohio and demolished it. Nicky made a few homemade bombout of CO2 cartridges and gunpowder that did considerable damage. The TV’s last breath was squeezed out when 10 or so of us lined up, all strapped, and loaded about 150 bullets into it. Check out Darius in the background.
Vodpod videos no longer available.
Then, like middle schoolers, we burned it.
Before all that happened, Nick Copeland tried to kick a ball through the screen and was horribly, horribly unsuccessful.
