Better Than Ice Cream, Vol. 37 by Wes Keyes

Foreign Born.  I wanted to get this posted today because they’re playing with the Veils up at Beachland in Cleveland tonight.  Originally formed in San Francisco, Foreign Born didn’t finalize their current bill of talent and sound until after making the move to LA.  Lewis Pesacov (guitar), Ariel Rechtshaid (bass), Matt Popieluch (guitar/voice) and Garrett Ray (drums) released their sophomore album Person To Person back in June.  It’s a great album all the way through, I can’t count how many times I’ve hit repeat after the last song “Wait In This Chair” finished.  Some have called Person To Person the soundtrack to summer BBQ’s… I’ll agree with that statement. There’s a pretty sweet video for “Winter Games” below and you should check out the video on their MySpace with XZIBIT doing the crip walk…  Enjoy your weekend!
