Best Superbowl Commercial (IMO)
I’m pretty sure that Arcade Fire and Grizzly Bear will get some major Google action in the next few days. Both the bands had super catchy songs in commercials during the Superbowl. The Arcade Fire spot ran like 6 times, but I think this Volkswagen song featuring Grizzly Bear’s hit song “Two Weeks” was funnier and more memorable (though I’ve never seen anyone slug someone for just seeing a VW, it’s gotta be a Beetle!).
You Couldn’t PAY ME to Get on That Rock
Knowing my luck I would be the last person to ever step foot on that rock. I would somehow manage to dislodge the 6-ton boulder that has been stuck for centuries and fall to my death with my shitty mountain bike. As I was falling I would scream “RED BULL!” as many times as possible, hoping that the company gives my family enough money to airlift my corpse from the bottom of the canyon.

Remember that feeling you got the first time you heard “A Millie?” I got that same feeling when I heard this beat. This won’t be a nationwide banger, but its straight fire. This week @Khemsurov tweeted “Watchin animal house makes me wish I had been in a jewfrat @osu” and I couldn’t agree more. Part of me always wishes I would have gone bro in college and taken the college experience to another level. Foam parties, rush week, 4 Kegs, the whole works.
I honestly only remember playing beer pong once or twice in my life and I never had the chance to witness the infamous beer pong slam dunk. Salty.

A Truly Amazing Action Scene
The movie is ‘Alluda Majaka’, which can be translated to something like “This son-in-law is no joke.” The actor, Chiranjeevi (affectionately known as Megastar) enjoys a demi-god status in Telugu society. Badmouthing the guy in some parts of the state can be harmful to your health.
Most Tollywood (not Bollywood, mind you) movies tend to over-dramatize, exaggerate and place songs that seem totally non-sequitur. This is mostly done appease the majority of the fan-base that is uneducated and doesn’t give a shit about your version of proper cinema. I guess if I laid brick all day, barely ate two meals a day, slept in a mud hut with a thatched roof and only had a 20 W bulb for my illuminating needs, I’d watch a horse slide under a truck. Because screw reality, that shit sucks.
From the looks of some of the clips around the 1:30 mark, I think many animals WERE harmed in the making of this film.
