Movie Night Suggestions
Our first Movie Night of 2009 may have been the greatest one yet. Hard Ticket to Hawaii is without a doubt the greatest movie I have ever seen. We are planning another viewing at the end of the summer, so if you missed it you still have a chance.
I’m looking for suggestions for movies to watch for the rest of the Summer. Give me full titles and I will try to find them online. Anything and everything. Maybe include a YouTube link with it so people can watch the trailers. Remember, we like cheesy 80′s/90′s movies like Cobra, Point Break, Road House, Heavy Metal Parking Lot, etc.

steve, you’ve never seen or heard of toxic avenger?? at some point i personally would like to view “North Shore”, “Revenge of the Nerds”, “Over the Edge”and one of the many bikespoitation movies that made up that Corpse Corps youtube video, i’m working on getting some of those. i had some other ideas but can’t recall them at the moment, i’ll keep you posted.

Toxic avengers is sick… also the dudes who put out that movie/comic also wrote a book “how to make a movie” based on the toxic avengers experience… its hella funny.

Any semblance of a plot is lost like 20 mins in, but no one really care at this point. We meander the city streets at night in glowing cars, have spontaneous shootouts in hospital stairwells, torch street people, and listen to hippie mechanics spouting universal wisdoms about the cosmic order of consciousness and the lattice of coincidence. Gotta love Saturday nights in L.A.
Also, you gotta love those rebellious punks who enjoys head banging with friends and eating their dinner out of dog food cans. Ahh, the rebellious youth of the 80’s!!!!
