Ohio Man Gets Drunk, Wrecks Bar Stool
NEWARK, Ohio — A man faces charges after police said he crashed a motorized bar stool while under the influence of alcohol.
According to a news release issued Monday by police, the crash occurred on March 4 along Kelley Lane, located north of downtown Newark.
According to the release, an officer was responding to an injury crash when he discovered that a motorized bar stool had been wrecked along the road.
A subsequent investigation revealed that an intoxicated 28-year-old was operating the bar stool when he wrecked, police said.
The man claimed that the bar stool could reach speeds of 38 mph, but he said the contraption was only traveling 20 mph at the time of the crash.
The man, who was not identified by police, was issued a citation for OVI and driving under suspension, investigators said.

The Grip a Hipster Blog?!
Someone was kind enough to leave an anonymous comment a few minutes ago saying, “This hipster blog sucks.”

Extreme Skiing Legend Shane McConkey Dies in Base Jumping Accident
Canadian extreme skier and base jumper, Shane McConkey, died Thursday following a ski-base accident that ocurred while filming his latest movie in Italy.
McConkey, 39, experienced problems in the air after jumping off of a cliff in the expectation that he would be able to detach his skis and deploy his parachute, thus enabling him to glide safely to the ground, according to the Inquisitr.
According to a witness, one of McConkey’s skis failed to detach causing him to spin out of control and ultimately prevented him from deploying his parachute, the Inquisitr reported.
McConkey is survived by his wife, Sherry, and their 3½-year-old daughter Ayla.

Anyone Know if This is True?
I’ve never paid too much attention to the whole PETA/animal testing/sheep sheering controversy, but last week I saw this article that shows that PETA killed 95% of the animals in their care in 2008, and then today I saw this photo.
Can anyone back this statement up?

I remember the first time I saw Steven ride that curved wall on South campus. I didn’t even think that was possible on a bike.
