A big budget documentary on the life of the famous rapper is currently in the works. The soundtrack features unreleased tracks from the demo that got B.I.G. signed back in the day. This is one of the demos. Grimey and Raw to the core.
Can’t say enough about this track. I heard it was on The Chappelle show and had to go back and DVR it and watch the live performance for myself. The chemistry between the two really shines on one of my favorite beats of all time.
Their latest album is in my Top Five albums of 2008. I play the album all the way through at least once a week and I’m nowhere close to being tired of it yet. I wish I could force people to listen to music sometimes. Oh well.
I am tired of watching Deal or No Deal and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. I want variety shows where people compete in difficult and useless competitions. If one of the loyal Grip readers of Asian heritage (or anyone with vast knowledge on their culture) could please tell us which team is which, I would appreciate it.
“I just don’t think it’s the roll of the united states to walk into a country and say, “We do it this way, so should you.” … It really depends upon how our nation conducts itself in foreign policy: if we’re an arrogant nation they’ll resent us, if we’re a humble nation but strong they’ll welcome us.”
Imagine what the last 8 years would have been like if he kept his word?
Today I’m rocking one of the most comfortable shirts I own which HAPPENS to be an Homage tee. I had the opportunity to meet Ryan (who runs Homage) this weekend and figured I’d show a little love for the Columbus brand. If you are going to buy clothes you might as well buy from a locally owned business that is run by a young
Woody Allen Comedic Genius T-Shirt (definitely copping)

JCC Basketball AK League Championship T-Shirt
Commemorating the greatest squad to ever set foot on the hardwood at the J. With a prolific offensive attack led by 5 time all-JCC point guard Moshe Kaplan (’74, ’75, ’77, ’79, ’81) the boys of ’81 shattered records in every statistical category including scoring, rebounding, assists, blocked shots & chutzpah. Now, 27 years later, Homage invites you to re-live the mitzvah as we celebrate a team of destiny.
Bernie Kosar For President Cleveland Browns T-Shirt
Stunning good looks and a dazzling side-arm release make Mr. Kosar, along with former Brownie and running mate Webster Slaughter, a formidable duo in 2012.
UPDATE: For an explanation of events check Kareem’s comment…
If you or your friends were involved in the fights after Get Right you need to find something else to do the first Friday of every month. I don’t know who was involved and I’m not calling anyone out. That’s not what this is about. Get Right has been a huge success because people can show up, party, and go home without worrying about bumping into someone and a fight breaking out. Kareem gets hundreds of people together once a month and it’s been smooth sailing for almost 2 years and people will stop showing up if someone gets their face mangled over some drunk nonsense.
Aside from the clowning outside of Karma this was the jumpoff we needed for 2009. As always Detox and Cashola had the crowd on their Dougie all night (Cashola even played California Love!!!). I like the new location for the DJ’s even though everyone was hesitant to party by the stage. By the way, if you catch me at Get Right and want me to take a picture of you/your crew, holler. I’m not trying to blow up strangers but they are more than welcome to blow me up (n/h). 2009 is looking good already.
Check the rest of the photos after the jump… (more…)
Imagine gang robbing a store and running into this ponytailed warrior. Your crew would be laid out in exactly .88 seconds. Unless he had birdshot inside those shells that may be the most amazing thing I’ve seen all year (2009).
In my opinion this is a genius idea. Bananas are played out and someone figured out a way to make them crazy again. Thank you, mystery masked man, for bringing bananas back into the spotlight they deserve.
New track from Weezy’s newest signee to Young Money Records. Wasn’t expecting much and was completely caught off guard when the track started. I’ve got to admit I’m feelin’ this one but we’ll have to see what else he can do.
Not always a huge fan of mashups but I’ve got 3 Jay-Z mashups (Grey Album, Black on Black, and Billboard Gangsters) and they all get full album rotation when played. Download and enjoy.
Robbie Maddison achieves the impossible, jumping his motorcycle over 120 feet to the top of the Arc de Triomphe at the Paris Las Vegas and then jumped back down.
The jump up is scary but as long as he hit the correct speed he was going to land on top of the building no matter what. I would have circled on that roof for HOURS trying to get up the courage to jump down. It looks like he got loose right as he hit the landing but he corrected it before he dropped down onto the pavement.
Don’t you think Texas Tech would make the rope longer or something? Maybe bang the bell on the outside? It is obvious when watching the video it looks like he’s beating off. Looks can be deceiving but his face really makes it difficult. Thanks to Elitaste for reminding me of this video.
