The long awaited return of Get Right!!!
I haven’t had a weekend this good in a long, long time. Big ups to Kareem, Detox (if he has a myspace or a blog or a pager number someone let me know so I can link it up), and Johnny Cashola for another banger Friday!!! Also thanks to Rdot and J. Botti for taking some of these pictures.
The good people at Karma are now hosting Get Right the first Friday of every month. The place was PACKED and I don’t think Karma knew what to expect. They were slightly short staffed, though still polite to everyone I talked to. Karma has a HUGE space in the back that wasn’t open (’cause they didn’t know how crazy white people get), but supposedly next month Get Right will have access to it. The room is 2-3 times bigger than the space we used. It’s got a huge dance floor, disco ball, cages suspended in the air, a trampoline, a hot tub in the VIP, snakes, and a huge mirror for Kareem to dance in front of.
You know this summer is going to be off the hook!
